Happy Earth Day, Earthlings!

Was out and about on Long Island’s North Fork running various errands yesterday, and stopped in at Long Ireland Brewery to say hi and check in on the Saison we brewed together a few weeks ago. Got to have a sip via the sample port, it is coming along very nicely. Looking forward to getting it bottled up and carbonated, the majority of the release will likely be cork-and-caged 750 ML bottles. Expected to be out in time for Long Island Craft Beer Week, our label is below:

Back to Blind Bat Brewery’s planned expansion, a building in Bohemia (below) is still beckoning. I’m hoping to have details and investment funding worked out in the near future. There is a bit to be worked out still, but it is looking promising. Looking forward to bigger capacity and brewing more beer.

Finally, our new T-shirts and glasses are in. We sought out shirts made in the USA, sweat-shop free. The glasses, while Belgian style, are also made in the USA. Now available in our new online store, but these will also be available in person when we are back in the Farmers’ Markets (and also when we are in our new space --- which will have a tasting room / retail space).
